  • La classe… ils proposent une palette très large de possibles intégrations des images dans des pages externes. Google le fait depuis un moment (c'est la même technologie qui est derrière Google Maps) mais ça fait plaisir de voir que l'équipe de la OpenLibrary arrive à ce niveau de granularité. Je pense qu'ils commencent à être des concurrents sérieux à GBS et WorldCat, ça fait du bien cette "bibliodiversité"!!!

  • Les jeux et petites applications ludiques pour le kindle sont arrivés, ce n'est pas l'apple store mais c'est un début intéressant pour un vrai lecteur d'e-books.
  • Jolie actualisation de la carte que j'avais vu il y a quelques années, je vais les comparer pour voir la tectonique (analogie emprunté à Olivier Ertzscheid) de ces plaques et continents imaginaires

  • Une nouvelle façon de visiter une ville de façon originale, à la recherche des trésors cachés et géotaggés avec GPS. Sympa et grâce à l'imprécision dans le positionnement ça peut durer un moment, surtout en montagne!

  • DAPHNE (Données en Archéologie, Préhistoire et Histoire sur le NEt) […] est une mutualisation de données, c'est-à-dire une convergence de trois bases de données BAHR, FRANCIS (domaines Pré- et protohistoire, art et archéologie et partiellement histoire et sciences des religions), FRANTIQ-CCI.

    Cette convergence se fait de deux façons :

    convergence terminologique (mise en concordance des termes d’indexation) et convergence des données selon un format international (le format MODS) pour DAPHNE.

    Par ailleurs les trois bases continuent à avoir une existence autonome et peuvent être interrogées séparément.

    Assurer la gratuité des données mises à disposition : à ce titre, ce portail permet aux utilisateurs non CNRS de consulter gratuitement une partie de la base FRANCIS.
